Frequently Asked Questions

We provide independent technology advisory and hands-on implementation for small businesses. Since 2005, we have helped businesses improve website performance, increase search visibility, streamline systems and workflows, and coordinate vendor relationships. Our work spans strategy and execution — from a one-time assessment to ongoing monthly partnership. We start with your business goals, not your technology stack.

Neither, exactly. We are an independent advisory firm — no vendor relationships, no commissions, no agency overhead. Unlike a solo consultant, we have the capacity to execute: improving websites, implementing SEO, integrating technology systems, and coordinating vendors. You get senior-level thinking and hands-on execution without the layers and markups of a traditional agency.

Yes. Website work is central to what we do. We address performance, Core Web Vitals, mobile experience, and conversion — whether your site needs targeted fixes or a broader overhaul. Website improvements are included in our Blueprint and Momentum packages, and ongoing maintenance is part of Steward. All website work is senior-led and tied to your specific business goals.

Yes. Search visibility and local search are included in our Blueprint, Momentum, and Steward packages. We handle on-page SEO, content alignment, Google Business Profile setup and management, and local search positioning. Our approach focuses on the structure and content of your site — so the right customers find you when they are searching.

Compass is our structured assessment engagement — a one-time, $1,995 investment that delivers an independent review of your website, search presence, and technology stack. You receive a written report with prioritized findings and a 12-month roadmap, followed by a 60-minute walkthrough session with a senior advisor. There is no vendor agenda and no obligation to continue into any other service.

Most clients begin with Compass, and we recommend it. It gives both you and us the information needed to make smart decisions about next steps. That said, it is not required. If you have a recent audit or a clear starting point, we will discuss whether Blueprint, Momentum, or Steward is a better fit during your initial Strategy Review.

Blueprint ($1,500/mo) builds your digital foundation — website performance, local search visibility, and core technology — over six months. Momentum ($2,500/mo) handles broader, more complex work: multi-system integrations, automation, vendor management, and full digital overhauls, with bi-weekly progress sessions. Steward ($1,750/mo) is the ongoing engagement for businesses that have completed implementation and want consistent monitoring, updates, and strategic guidance going forward.

Yes. Implementation is a core part of what we offer — not an optional add-on. We execute website improvements, SEO, technology integrations, and workflow changes directly. When specialized work requires outside vendors, we coordinate and oversee it. You do not need to carry our recommendations to a separate agency. Strategy and execution happen under one roof, with senior oversight throughout.

Yes. We work alongside existing vendors regularly — web developers, marketing agencies, software providers, and others. We can evaluate what they are delivering, fill the gaps they are not covering, and coordinate across multiple relationships on your behalf. We do not require you to replace vendors who are doing good work; we help you get more value from the ones worth keeping.

We work best with small and mid-size businesses that need to improve their technology results but lack the internal resources to manage strategy and execution. Common situations: a website generating few leads, gaps in search visibility, disconnected systems, or too many vendors without a coordinating plan. We have worked across more than 12 industries since 2005.

No. We are based in Irvine and serve many clients across Orange County and Southern California, but we work with businesses nationwide. Most engagements are conducted remotely and do not require in-person meetings, so geography is rarely a limitation. If you are outside California, feel free to reach out — we are comfortable working across time zones.
